PEAK PERFORMANCE YOGA
Are you ready to embark on a journey to finally transform your mind and your body?
Yoga is an ancient art that is based on harmonizing a system of development for the body, mind and spirit. Yoga is not a religion; it is a practical aid and is something different for each practitioner. Many see it is a journey to improved health, spiritual peace and mental acuity. It is not a sport or a competition. It is a form of exercise that emphasizes the whole self, created to unite body and breath, mind and muscle. The word yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning to yoke or to control or unite. The intention of yoga is to unite the movements of the body with the breath. Breath is life; it is energy. By uniting these two, one can begin to fully attain all the benefits of yoga.
Anyone can practice yoga, but it does require COMMITMENT. Commitment to showing up on a regular basis, being willing to try even when you feel tired, or stressed. It is these times when your body will need the practice the most. Best results are achieved by practicing 3 – 5 times a week. The more you practice the more benefits you receive. The benefits of yoga are many, including:
· Stronger Muscles
· Improved Body Tone
· Relaxed and Clear Mind
