Yes, I know, I just angered some sensitive mom or dad somewhere. Frankly, you wouldn’t get upset if you were being a parent in the first place.
Being a Professional Martial Arts Instructor, we have seen just about every dynamic possible with families today.
Our children are heading for a very difficult time. I truly feel it is the most in our history. The main reason why is parents have stopped parenting. They are relying on everyone else to do their job.
They are relying on the schools to provide all of their education. Guess what, we are ranked 26th in the world. We have 3rd and 4th world countries, whipping our butt. Most parents want to keep their heads buried in the sand. It is time to pull your head out and start parenting and leading your children.
The top three things you need to teach your children are respect and courtesy, which means saying sir, ma’am, please, thank you, and you're welcome. There needs to be a set routine in your house, the children feel much more comfortable and confident. The third step is to tell them you love them and believe in them, our world is very harsh today.
